Office 365

Need computer tools to help with your assignments, learning and group work? Office 365 Education which includes Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and more is now available at no cost for uOttawa students. That’s right: FREE!

Students currently attending uOttawa can sign-up to the free service through the Information Technology software page. Use your @uOttawa.ca email address to sign-up and gain access to the Office online suite, cloud storage and collaboration tools on your PC or Mac. By registering, you can install the tools on up to five devices, and access mobile applications via your tablet or smartphone.

The Office 365 Education tools are free as part of an agreement between Information Technology and Microsoft. Your license expires annually, but the tools are available at no charge as long as you are a student enrolled in a class at uOttawa.

This software option is currently available for students only; staff interested in Microsoft Office software should submit a request through their IT rep for University-owned machines, or purchase the Home Use program at a low cost through our Software page
