Changes in Information Technology

IT Services and Infrastructure

In November, changes were made in the IT Services and Infrastructure team.

Jonathan Gualtieri, Senior Computing Analyst and the deskside support team (Paul Tondreau, Denis Soulière, Chris Rakos, Jean-Luc Vermette-Castonguay, Martin Grégoire, and Louis Lattion) now report to Jean-Francois Dion, Information Technology Manager. 

This change supports our vision of a consolidated Service Desk by having all three groups report to the same manager. The three groups are as follows:

  1. Service Desk phone line (ext. 6555),
  2. in-person Service Desk (Morisset),
  3. most recently, Deskside Support (second-level support). 

We would like to thank Alex Dipietro for his service and leadership. He has been managing the Deskside Management team for over ten years. Going forward, Alex will be focusing his attention on Infrastructure projects and initiatives. He will also continue his involvement with the IT representatives at their regular meetings.

IT Solutions 

Effective January 2018, the group of IT professionals from the central HR Department will be joining our IT Solutions Corporate Services team led by Carl Blanchette, IT Manager. Please join us in welcoming Marc Alary and his team: Bertrand Lefort, Augustin Denis, Darlene Avelar, and Paul Massue-Monat.
