The “uOttawa” and “uOttawa-WPA” wireless networks will be decommissioned on January 30, 2018. Consequently, wireless access will no longer be available on these networks and instead be available exclusively through the eduroam network, a secure, reliable and high-performance worldwide wireless service for the international education and research community at over 70 institutions worldwide.

Get ready

Complete the initial set up of your device to connect to the eduroam network. You’ll then be ready to take advantage of the University’s high-speed wireless network and the wireless network of any eduroam-enabled institution in the world. Students can connect to the wireless network via their Gmail credentials, while employees can access Wi-Fi through their uoAccess (Exchange email) login.

To ensure a successful connection to the eduroam network, please use your full @uOttawa.ca email address (ex. Jdoe123@uOttawa.ca) and email password to login.

By offering a single wireless network, we simplify wireless access, consolidating and concentrating IT support.
