I studied Business at Wilfrid Laurier University as well as Economics and Econometrics at Universiteit Amsterdam. I have many certifications including TOGAF 9 (The Open Group Architecture Framework), ITIL v3, business architecture, service-oriented architecture, project and portfolio management, facilitation.

I am a digital strategist, an enterprise designer, and a futurist.
What is the coolest thing you are working on right now?
I am honoured to co-chair the University’s Women in IT group. I look forward to hosting events and continuing the important discussion on diversity and inclusion. Diverse teams with strong inclusion practices are proven to produce better outcomes. There are many possibilities for ongoing support of women in IT including mentoring, networking events, and professional development. This group is not just for women — male advocates are welcome and also needed to achieve meaningful change.
What do you think IT will look like 10 years from now?
The separation of business and IT is already blurring. Over the next ten years, the fusion of business and IT will continue, and digital skills will be in high demand in all areas of the organization. Today’s business leaders will become the future digital leaders working with internal and external partners as well as vendors to enable digital transformation. The digital ecosystem of higher education will expand beyond traditional boundaries and become more adaptable to changing business models.
What is your favourite place?
At home, snuggling with my husband and two young children.
What are your favourite pastimes?
Reading, outdoor activities, scuba diving, and travelling.
What is your favourite sport?
Ball hockey. I have been playing co-ed recreational ball hockey for the last 10 years.

I am an experienced LEGO® Serious Play Facilitator.
