Register for this seminar by February 26, 2019 to learn about data visualization. It is a very powerful tool when interpreting large amounts of data.
Several tools are available, among which ParaView. This is a 2D and 3D visualization tool that can read a large variety of data formats to create high-quality images or videos. It features many tools to manipulate the data and the visualizations. The Python interface also allows for more advanced control.
In this seminar, Jarno van der Kolk will show how to use ParaView and how to import and analyze data to create compelling visualizations of your research.
We will also discuss how to do the rendering of the images and videos on the computational resources provided by Compute Canada, where you have access to systems with many GPUs.
The code examples for this seminar are available on BitBucket.
